Privacy policy

Signing in with Google requests the openid, email and profile scopes. From them AI Rankings receives your Google account identifier, your email address (only if Google reports it as verified) and your name. Nothing else is requested: no access to Gmail, Drive, Calendar, contacts or any other Google service, and no access after you finish signing in.

The account identifier and email address recognise you on a later visit so the allowance of 3 new rankings a day follows you. The name is shown in the page header while you are signed in. They are not used for advertising, profiling, marketing email or any purpose beyond running the site, and AI Rankings sends no email.

A sign-in cookie holds a random token; only a hash of it is stored on the server, and it expires after 30 days or when you sign out. A second cookie lasts a few minutes while sign-in is in progress. There are no advertising or analytics cookies and no third-party trackers.

When you request a ranking, the text you type is stored with the outcome of the request, and a moderation model rewrites it into a neutral ranking question. That question, the answers of the AI panel and the resulting ranking are published on this site for everyone; your name and email address are not published or attached to them. The request text is sent to the AI model providers the panel runs on, through OpenRouter, to produce the ranking. Do not put personal information in a request.

Your IP address is used to limit abuse. It is stored only as a salted hash that cannot be reversed without a secret kept on the server.

Your Google account data is never sold, rented or shared with anyone else, and is disclosed only if the law requires it. It is kept for as long as your account exists.

To have your account and its stored data deleted, email wolfgangs2000@gmail.com from the address on the account and it will be removed. You can also revoke access at any time in your Google account permissions. Questions about this policy go to the same address.
